Luxury is getting personal, fashion is getting fun, and the future of retail is more immersive than ever. Whether it’s accessorizing with a furry little BFF, exploring bamboo artistry in a flagship store, or snapping OOTDs in a fresh Manila boutique, the message is clear: the best style statements are the ones that feel like you.

Charm-mania

With the release of its newest collectible designs, the Fendi Match Platform Sneakers with Charms and the Fendi BFF Maxi and Mini Charms, the brand takes play very seriously. Like Silvia, who is dressed in a miniature version of Karl Lagerfeld’s famous equestrian ensemble that was worn by a young Silvia Venturini Fendi in 1967, the LEach BFF charm has a unique personality and name. The limited-edition Maxi Charms combine sustainability with distinctive Italian workmanship, using fur and repurposed textiles.

They are heartfelt heirlooms that can be mixed and matched to become your opulent little best buddies for life. They are more than just keychains.

Between art and innovation

TUMI has debuted an immersive flagship in Shanghai that appeals to the spirit of the contemporary tourist. It’s an experience as much as a store. Curved LED screens and user-friendly product displays lead visitors through a futuristic, design-savvy experience, while the sculpture façade, which is anchored in performance and purpose, is inspired by TUMI’s 19 Degree baggage range.

Renowned Chinese artist Xu Fei’s unique bamboo art piece, Journey, is on display in the area embodied by this interpretation of the harmony between movement and grounding via the prism of Chinese cosmology. Every element, including the interactive materials wall and the open-concept VIP lounge, is designed to inspire.

Digital native gets physical

Back on Southeast Asian soil, Pomelo is making major moves. The digital-native fashion label, known for its Gen Z sensibilities and trend-driven designs, has partnered with retail powerhouse SSI Group to finally bring its fashionable swagger to the Philippines.

The first flagship store will open on 20 August at Glorietta, followed by a second at Robinsons Place Malate on 28 August. The brand is now accessible on Zalora and will shortly appear on Shopee as well. Known for its Tap.Try.Buy concept. Pomelo is more than simply a fashion brand; it’s a way of life. Think TikTok-friendly styles, eco-conscious pieces and try-before-you-buy convenience all in one tidy package.
