PCSO brings ‘ChariTimba’ to Dipaculao, Aurora
Published on

On 16 July 2025, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) extended humanitarian assistance through its “ChariTimba” to residents of Barangay Dinadiawan in Dipaculao, Aurora, who were severely affected by Typhoon Pepito last year.

Led by PCSO Director Imelda Papin and Aurora OIC-Branch Manager Marites Dela Cruz, the agency distributed 1,500 ChariTimba food packs containing rice, canned goods, and instant noodles. Dir. Papin also serenaded attendees with her signature songs, bringing comfort and joy to the community.

The outreach was made possible through the heartfelt request of local resident, Jay Lyn Odal of DZRH Operation Tulong, who sought help from Senator Lito Lapid. The senator then endorsed the appeal to PCSO.

Barangay Captain Ike Amper also expressed overwhelming gratitude for the assistance that their community received.

God bless, PCSO!”

This activity conducted is part of PCSO’s mandate and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program, which aims to deliver inclusive services and support to Filipinos in need.
