In today’s rapidly evolving business landscape, Globe Business is stepping up to empower human resources (HR) leaders, equipping them to drive workforce agility, strengthen talent development, and help build digital-first, resilient supply chain systems that support long-term business growth.

HR professionals in retail, manufacturing and logistics continue to face challenges such as talent shortages, high attrition, skill mismatches and the need to engage a changing workforce while adapting to rapid digital transformation.

To help address these concerns, Globe Business works with HR leaders, transforming traditional practices into modern, employee-centric strategies. Through co-created training programs and digital solutions, the brand supports productivity, streamlines workforce management, and helps build adaptable, future-ready teams.

This people-first approach was highlighted in two recent industry events, where Globe Business demonstrated how empowering employees with the right tools and leadership can drive stronger performance across the supply chain cycle.

At the Philippine Retailers Association (PRA) 3rd Retail Leaders Summit, Globe Business served as a major partner and featured speaker. The summit provided a platform for new ideas and collaboration amid shifts in the workforce, rising technology adoption, and the growing demand for business agility.

Globe Business assistant vice president for people and culture excellence Berns Bernardo spoke on people-first leadership and building sustainable work cultures. He emphasized the importance of adaptability, critical thinking, and team cohesion, particularly as Gen Z and millennial professionals redefine how performance and purpose are viewed.

“Leadership-in-action means investing in the growth of people, building cohesive teams, leading with integrity, and championing digital transformation. It takes courage to transform and build a truly best-in-class organization,” he said.

Globe Business also hosted the Q2 General Membership Meeting of the Association of SEIPI People Advocates (ASPA), part of the Semiconductor and Electronics Industries in the Philippines Foundation Inc.

The gathering addressed the dual pressures of evolving skill demands, driven by artificial intelligence (AI), and a persistent shortage of qualified talent. These challenges are amplified by fierce global competition and gaps in the academic pipeline.

In response, Globe vice president for people experience Nico Bambao shared how Globe designs programs built on purpose and care.

“At Globe, we don’t just build employee programs; we build them around our people. Our purpose keeps us grounded, and we’ve seen time and again that when people feel genuinely cared for, they bring their best to the work that drives us all forward,” she said.

To support HR transformation, Globe Business offers digital tools such as Sprout HRIS, Google Workspace with Gemini AI, m360 and marketing technology solutions such as Inquiro and Snowflake for data analytics and targeting of the right audience. These are paired with connectivity services, including Postpaid Mobile for communication, Broadband and Direct Internet Access for seamless connectivity, and Load Up for employee load disbursement.

Globe Business continues to serve the supply chain industry as a trusted digital transformation partner, working with HR leaders and decision-makers to drive people and organizational transformation.
