The Global Tourism Business Association (GTBA) and digital platform ONEKLIK are bringing back the Travel Sale Expo (TSE) for its third year, promising exclusive offers and surprises from over 200 exhibitors on 26 ro 28 September at the Megatrade Hall, SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City.
With the theme “Your Gateway to the World,” the 2025 TSE will highlight global travel opportunities while supporting the Department of Tourism’s push to showcase both well-loved and emerging local destinations.
The announcement was made during the 7th B2B Global Travel Exchange and Roadshow in Cebu City on July 16.
"Travel is a powerful way to understand the world and its people. When we try new things and explore new places, we learn more about ourselves and view life in a new light,” said GTBA President and TSE Chairman Michelle Taylan. “Imagine the stories you'll tell, the laughter you'll share, and the memories you'll cherish. Your next adventure is just around the corner—go for it and make it happen!"
The expo will gather major players from the airline, hotel, tour, and cruise sectors offering competitive packages and discounts for local and international destinations.
This year’s event also marks a new partnership with GCash as a key sponsor, providing flexible and seamless payment options during the expo.
"We are thrilled to partner with a true innovator in the financial realm," Taylan said. "In today's world, having flexible payment options is essential, and GCash understands the needs of consumers and businesses."
Aside from international travel, the expo will place special focus on emerging local destinations, from Kalanggaman Island to lesser-known provincial gems.
“We believe that travel is a way to live life to the fullest,” Taylan said. “That’s why we're putting the spotlight on Philippine emerging destinations as part of our commitment to the Department of Tourism in supporting their initiatives to promote the Philippines not only locally but to the world."
She noted that staples like Boracay, Palawan, Cebu, Siargao, and El Nido remain favorites.
“Hindi ‘yan mawawala. In terms of comfort food, ito ‘yung mga destinations na hahanap-hanapin mo. It’s almost like your second home where you’re completely at peace, and at the same time bagong experience every time,” she said.
The 3rd Travel Sale Expo also aims to connect travelers with the latest trends, offer networking opportunities with industry professionals, and boost tourism recovery efforts.
"Join us at the Travel Sale Expo and be a part of our mission to promote Philippine tourism and showcase the country's hidden gems,” Taylan said.
