Flooding continued to affect multiple areas across Metro Manila in the early hours of Tuesday, 22 July, as monsoon rains enhanced by Tropical Storm Crising soaked large parts of the region. The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) reported varying flood levels from gutter-deep to waist- and chest-deep in several key roads as of 12:02 AM.
In Quezon City, several sections of G. Araneta Avenue remained submerged, with chest-deep flooding reported near Maria Clara and Victory Avenue, and waist-deep water near NS Amoranto, making these roads impassable to all vehicles. Other nearby streets, including Kaliraya Road, E. Rodriguez, and Biak na Bato, also had knee- to half-tire-deep floods, affecting light vehicle passage. Flooding at EDSA North Avenue was limited to gutter-deep and remained passable.
In Manila, several roads were affected by flooding, including España Dela Fuente, where tire-deep waters made the road impassable to all vehicles. Other flooded areas such as España near Lacson, España cor Antipolo, and parts of Rizal Avenue, Taft Avenue, and Roxas Boulevard ranged from gutter- to knee-deep. While most remained passable to all vehicles, light vehicles were advised to avoid some sections.
In Valenzuela, waist-deep flooding was recorded along McArthur Highway in Marulas, making the road impassable. Caloocan also reported knee-deep flooding along C3 near the NLEX Connector.
In Marikina, gutter-deep flooding remained at the SM Marikina underpass, while Major Dizon Road was rendered impassable due to an overflow from the Marikina River.
Pasay, Navotas, Las Piñas, and Malabon reported mostly gutter-deep flooding, with roads remaining passable as of the latest update. Floodwaters at Andrews Avenue (Tramo) in Pasay had already subsided by 9:05 PM the night before.
