The Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) opened nearly flat on Monday, 8 July 2025, gaining just 0.66 points or 0.01 percent to start the trading day at 6,425.90 as of 9:53 AM.
DigiPlus Interactive Corp. (PLUS) emerged as the most actively traded stock early in the session, with over P177 million in traded value, despite a 2.51 percent dip in price to P32.95. Ayala Land, Inc. (ALI) and Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) followed, with ALI slipping 1.26 percent to P27.45 while RLC edged up 0.56 percent to P14.42. Bloomberry Resorts Corporation (BLOOM) also landed among the top five, down 2.05 percent. Rounding out the list, GT Capital Holdings, Inc. (GTCAP) advanced 0.93 percent to P650.00.
Leading early gainers were Top Line Business Development Corp. (TOP), EEI Corporation (EEI), and Lepanto Consolidated Mining Company “B” (LCB), while top losers included Grand Plaza Hotel Corporation (GPH), Petron’s Series 4C preferred shares (PRF4C), and DoubleDragon Corporation (DD).
