Things are not what they seem
It’s a tough period, this one… because here on the ground, Saturn is constricting and destroying the old ways, yet asks that we to build something real from the wreckage of it all.
BRIDGING WORLDS
All the world is a stage, and things are not what they seem. We need to keep this in mind as we watch the escalation of chaos, turbulence and the energy of fear arising in our unstable world.
By looking at cosmic patterns, we can understand the fracturing of our reality, which is forcing us to question everything we thought we knew. There is a VERY RARE meeting of two planets: Saturn, the disciplinarian, that stern architect that demands order and structure of form; and Neptune, where fogs of illusions and visions lull us into the haze, sometimes illuminating and inspiring us, often confusing us.
Both planets meet in conjunction (coming next to each together) in the first astrological sign of Aries, in that special first degree of the sign. There has not been such an astrological position in all of recorded history. It is crucial because it marks the great pivot with a powerful focus. Symbolically, it represents action, boldness and birthing of a new world, a collective turning point of humanity and its emergence from the unconscious into a new awareness.
Saturn in Aries (a pioneering fire sign of action) demands discipline, structure and decisive action, yet Neptune in the same sign dissolves boundaries, blurring truth and deception. Isn’t this so confusing? The warriors are made martyrs and hopes and dreams become solid activism.
Have you noticed how we each got plugged collectively (maximized by the internet) to the chaos of the times? We see institutions crumbling under scrutiny as the collective demands accountability; long-held beliefs are being challenged as harsh realities show up; and sudden revelations shifting public perceptions. We are all being forced to question what is real — whether in politics, relationships, or global events.
The current astrological transits of Saturn and Neptune at 1 degree Aries amplifies this sentiment, creating a fog of illusion amidst relentless pressure. It’s a tough period, this one… because here on the ground, Saturn is constricting and destroying the old ways, yet asks that we to build something real from the wreckage of it all.

society caught between disillusionment and the desperate need for something — or someone — to trust.
The real danger coming up lies in Neptune’s ability to make us believe in false saviors or misguided causes, while Saturn’s rigidity can lead to frustration when systems refuse to bend. The result is a society caught between disillusionment and the desperate need for something — or someone — to trust.
This is where we need to dive inside and anchor deeper in ourselves and our personal foundations. We must be so firm in our personal faith and values. I wouldn’t even anchor so much on religion as this, as an institution, will likewise be broken up.
Remember, what we are riding now is the rollercoaster of evolution. We must believe wisely, fiercely, with eyes wide open, that we have the power to build the new. What is being shattered will rise again, but in a new form. What we need is a paradigm shift, a new lens at looking at everything in our journey through this world.
Personally, I constantly dive deep inside myself to shift perspectives…even as my heart breaks as I see our waters and springs drying up; corals and marine life devastated; plastics floating everywhere, and so much of the diversity of our animals and plants lost. I know it’s the Earth calling us back to balance, to see it once more with reverence and to honor her sacred spirit. Many of us are making conscious choices like embracing sacred stewardship of our planet, plus to work and live to recalibrate processes towards sustainability.
Meanwhile, what we are also seeing are scattered localized beginnings of life-affirming cooperation towards circular economies and new sustainable models in all walks of life and industries, new servant leadership formats, and governance with conscience and activism to put in the hard work to change patterns of everything that is killing life.
