In another shining moment for Filipino talent on the global stage, world-renowned singer Marcelito Pomoy proudly represented the Philippines as a special guest performer at the Virtuosos International Talent Show semifinals — sharing the spotlight with some of the most iconic names in classical and crossover music.
Pomoy, best known for his extraordinary dual voice that seamlessly blends male tenor and female soprano, took to social media to reflect on the milestone. “It was such a pleasure to stand on the stage with these truly amazing artists who I look up to,” he wrote, tagging global greats such as José Carreras, Dimash Kudaibergen, and Plácido Domingo.
Held in Europe and streamed globally, the Virtuosos show is a prestigious platform that brings together exceptional musical talents from around the world. Pomoy was invited to perform as a guest artist during the international semifinals, wowing the audience with a powerful rendition of “Eternity,” composed by Tonči Huljić, who also joined him in the performance.
While the grand finals took place shortly after and were streamed live on the show's YouTube channel, the buzz surrounding Pomoy’s appearance stood out as one of the event’s most memorable highlights. His solo performance, styled as a duet, once again stunned audiences—proving that his voice continues to transcend borders.
