British designer Anya Hindmarch is unlike any other. Aside from establishing her own accessories brand in 1987, she has distinguished herself in arts and literature.
This fashion CEO has written a book, If In Doubt Wash Your Hair, which came out in May 2021. She is not only emeritus trustee of both the Royal Academy of Arts and the Design Museum, she was also named ambassador for the University of the Arts London.
Her design philosophy, which is “British, humorous and personalized,” comes to Asia in the form of T-shirts that more people can afford than her luxury bags.
With Japanese retailer Uniqlo, Anya Hindmarch poses: what if every day dressing was treated like a quiet form of art? Where every stitch has intention, every silhouette has purpose, and even the most effortless pieces feel like they were made just for you?
That’s the energy behind the Uniqlo X Anya Hindmarch Summer 2025 Collection — a thoughtful capsule of T-shirts made for daily life, warm weather and everything in between.
Dubbed the “T-Shirt Shop,” this playful yet practical collection marks another creative link-up between Uniqlo and the celebrated British designer Anya Hindmarch. At the heart of it is a “system” of five essential shapes — reworked with Anya’s signature touches: Deconstructed stitching, humorous details and her beloved eye motif.
The system, reimagined for summer
Slightly cropped, cut looser like a borrowed tee, and finished with bold zigzag stitching, the T1boxy walks that sweet spot between laid-back and styled.
Then there’s a soft, breathable, and not even a little bit see-through T2Classic, featuring fun stitching that gives it a wink of personality.
Somewhere between breezy and polished sits the T3sleeveless. Crisp cotton, a subtle shoulder detail, and the iconic eye motif on the back make this one a summer staple.
Slim-fitting but never clingy, this tank keeps things cool literally and stylistically. The KT1easy is all about ease, color, and fun with playful stitching and a cheeky eye motif that’s sure to delight tiny wearers and their grown-up admirers alike.
Completing the collection is the Square Pouch, designed to be as easygoing as a summer breeze.
