On Mother’s Day, Landmark in Central Hong Kong celebrated the timeless bond of motherhood with “The Gift of Forever,” a campaign inspired by the enduring sparkle of natural diamonds.
The luxe event, which ended on 11 May, had a series of installations and activations across Landmark’s retail spaces, highlighting the resilience and beauty of mothers through the metaphor of diamonds — multifaceted, rare and everlasting.
Guests followed a curated “diamond route” showcasing jewelry and watch stores that included Cartier, DIOR, Patek Philippe, Tiffany & Co., Van Cleef & Arpels and more.
A highlight was the by-invitation series of workshops held from 29 April to 4 May, hosted by experts from the De Beers Institute of Diamonds. The workshops were enriched by artistic interpretations of London-based artist Annette Fernando, whose work celebrates the natural formation of diamonds.
Hong Kong artist Kitty Wong illustrated tender moments of maternal love, tracing the journey of a mother’s care and support, paralleling the legacy and brilliance of natural diamonds passed through generations.
The well-attended campaign had star-studded attendance with Hong Kong celebrities such as Michelle Wai, Marf Yau, Jay Fung, Shirley Sham, Jennifer Yu, and DJ Ah Jeng, who shared personal reflections on motherhood and the symbolic beauty of diamonds. The event honored mothers with the gift of forever, shining as brightly as natural diamonds.
