NATEDC
“Timeless Filipino Flavors, Crafted with Quality” a testament from the latest contemporary Filipino dining in town — Azela. It was a two-day by-invitation soft opening event held last 24 and 25 April, Thursday and Friday at Robinsons Ermita, where special guests, selected members of the press and friends indulged in a culinary feast filled with delightful traditions. Manila’s next big thing introduces a warm, nostalgic fast-casual Filipino restaurant that brings Ilonggo cuisine and classic Filipino-inspired dishes with the soul of home cooking an accessible everyday dining experience.
The menu prides itself in the legacy of Lola Azela’s heartfelt hospitality, combining the richness of Filipino heritage with the quality and consistency that define the Balay Dako standard. Rooted in tradition but elevated in execution, their offerings remain authentic and raises the bar on flavor, preparation and presentation. The must not miss indulgence are Kare-Kare, Piniritong Adobong Baboy, Crispy Pancit Luglog, Kansi, Sisig, Crispy Maskara and many mouth-watering more.
Azela first branch is inspired by Balay Dako and the charm of heritage homes in Silay City, Negros. It is a thoughtful blend of classic and modern style designed for comfortable, intimate dining, the space is ideal of for small gatherings, family meals, or even a quiet solo visit — definitely food for the soul.
