The highly anticipated JGFP Northern Luzon Junior Open is set to take place on 16 May, drawing young golf talents from across the region. The event is being held in cooperation with Baguio Junior Golf, under the leadership of president Isonn Angheng.
This junior golf tournament promises a showcase of skill and sportsmanship, providing a platform for golfers to compete in a structured and supportive environment.
Following the individual competition, the spotlight shifts on 17 May to the exciting Parent and Child Scramble, a friendly yet competitive event that allows any parent to partner with any junior golfer.
The teams will be grouped into four divisions, with the Top 5 in each division bringing home trophies.
The format for the Parent and Child event will be scramble. The divisions are as follows: Class A for ages 14 to 18, Class B for ages 10 to 13, Class C for ages 9 and below, and Class D, the Pro Division, which includes professional golfers and any other adult-junior pairings.
With strong interest already building among families and young golfers, both days are expected to be full of energy, talent, and memorable moments on the course.
