Kaunlad Pinoy (#133) has continued to advance its advocacy of empowering micro and small entrepreneurs, in visits to Manila’s fifth district and Norzagaray, Bulacan on Wednesday.
Led by its first nominee, James “Kuya Choi” Napoles, the partylist group en gaged with local leaders and residents, discussing ways to enhance support for its members and expand its reach to more communities.
In Manila’s fifth district, Napoles met with local leaders to share Kaunlad Pinoy’s vision of fostering economic independence through business education, financial literacy and livelihood programs. He also discussed plans to establish a local party headquarters in the district, which would serve as a hub where members can receive guidance, access training, and connect with other entrepreneurs.
While still in its early stages, this initiative aligns with Kaunlad Pinoy’s goal of bringing its advocacy closer to the people and making business opportunities more accessible to every Filipino.
The partylist group then traveled to Norzagaray, Bulacan, where an enthusiastic crowd warmly welcomed Kaunlad Pinoy. The gathering, marked by interactive games and celebrations of community and entrepreneurship, was a testament to the spirit of the movement. Napoles interacted with residents, listening to their concerns and discussing how small businesses can thrive with the right support system.
Napoles also shared ideas for expanding the benefits available to Kaunlad Pinoy members in the future. While NegoNation remains at the core of the movement, providing business education, financial literacy, and entrepreneurial training, Napoles discussed the potential for offering additional assistance, such as burial aid, medical assistance, scholarships and calamity support.
Although the plans are still being explored, they reflect Kaunlad Pinoy’s long-term vision of uplifting businesses and strengthening Filipino families.
Napoles mentioned the possibility of also setting up a local headquarters in Norzagaray.
This would reinforce Kaunlad Pinoy’s commitment to reaching entrepreneurs at the grassroots level.
