Generation Beta is the next generation, born between 2025 and 2039, according to futurist and social researcher Mark McCrindle.

They will be the children of the younger millennials and older Gen Zs. While Generation Alpha is the first to grow up fully immersed in technology, Generation Beta will take this even further.

Generation Alpha grew up with smartphones and social media. But Generation Beta will grow up with even more advanced technology, like virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and artificial intelligent (AI) assistants built into their daily lives.

For the Betas, AI and robots will be a normal part of life for them. While Generation Alpha uses basic voice assistants like Siri or Alexa, Beta will have AI teachers, healthcare helpers, and even personal robots.

3. Focused on the environment

Generation Beta will experience the real effects of climate change — like stronger storms and rising temperatures. They will grow up in a world that focuses on being eco-friendly and sustainable.

4. Global and diverse

Generation Beta will be the most connected generation. They will be in touch with people from all over the world, making them more global-minded and aware of different cultures.
