Poor Tondo students get boost

Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna and Vice Mayor Yul Servo joined District 2 Representative Rolan Valeriano for the groundbreaking ceremony of a new annex building for the Universidad de Manila in Vitas, Tondo on Thursday.
The new 10-story building, funded by a P400 million allocation from Valeriano’s congressional fund, will allow the university to accommodate more students, particularly those from Tondo.
