Trillanes files candidacy for Caloocan mayor, sets stage for 2025 showdown — Former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV greeted supporters as he filed his certificate of candidacy for Mayor of Caloocan City on Thursday, 3 October 2024, at SM Grand Central in Caloocan City. Trillanes and his running mate, PJ Malonzo, will challenge incumbent Mayor Along Malapitan and Vice Mayor Karina Teh in the 2025 elections.
