This is how Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna's goals were set as she journeyed that path of leading the most densely city in the land, a herculian task for a first woman to be mayor of the nation's capital.

Cleanliness is the “first order of battle" so to say was what she did by inspecting every offices in the city hall that all employees were made to obey, thus a very clean environment and conducive to work were the atmosphere throughout one of the oldest building in the city.

Next is handing down the cleanliness declaration to the downline to all 896 Barangay, though only a few lazy chairmen have half heartedly followed.

Everybody knows that Manila during the Covid days have prevailed and Lacuna's medical profession did it well, thus saving many lives of Manilans but it continue through in her term to prioritizing medical services through its six district hospitals and health centers scattered all over the city.

In addition to it, a revenue increased and money were spent well on every projects its has undertaken garnering several awards as best in financial housekeeping.

And who says Manila cannot be run by a woman, these past few years, Lacuna rating is high that if given another term she will do more to at least raise the level of the city from “dugyut” to now what she dream a “Magnificent Manila".

Moreover, her presence was felt weekly by her constituents through her “kalinga sa Maynila” not only herself but bringing the complete city hall services at every doorstep of its residents, name she brought it i.e. Engineering, health department, police , lawyers from city legal office, veterinary doctors, traffic officials, business permit, and even job placements,

Kalinga sa Maynila which is conceptualized by Lacuna herself was her way to change the type of leadership of some of his ‘macho ‘ predecessors but getting to feel the motherly loved down to the ground level leaving the air-condition room of her office at city hall.

This is her way of sending love from residents never been done by any of past mayor of the city.

It seems now he can say to her dad former Vice mayor Danny Lacuna I will never fail you and look at your daughter now…
