First Gen gets green serious Lopez-led First Gen re-elects members of the board of First Gen Corporation, led by its chairperson and CEO Federico Lopez (center), for another one-year term during the company’s recent annual stockholders’ meeting and election. The board members include (from left) Edgar Chua, Alicia Rita Morales, president and COO Francis Giles Puno, Manuel Lopez Jr., Maria Presentacion Abello and Manolo Michael de Guzman. Also re-elected are Elvira Bautista, Cielito Habito and Richard Raymond Tantoco (not in photo). Chua, Morales and Habito are independent directors. First Gen stands out as the country’s leading clean and renewable energy (RE) provider with an installed capacity of at least 3,639 megawatts. During the annual meeting, First Gen bared its program to expand its total installed capacity to 13,000 megawatts by 2030. Of this target capacity, roughly 7,500 MW will come from new RE.
