Oversee Multinational election, HLURB told

Members of the Multinational Village Homeowners Association in Parañaque City have urged the Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board, or HLURB, to oversee another election of officers and board of directors to resolve the rift between the village’s present and previous officers.

In a message to DAILY TRIBUNE, a homeowner also cited the need to continue vigilance in the community to stop it from becoming a haven for those engaged in the illicit drug trade.

The present officers and board members of the village are said to favor a call for a new election to give a fresh mandate to community leaders.

Homeowners’ associations play a critical role in managing community affairs, setting regulations and protecting the property values of owners.
