A 22-year-old woman died in one of several houses built by informal settlers after they were razed by a fire Thursday afternoon in Mayhaligue Street, Estero de Magdalena, Barangay 262, Zone 23 in Tondo, Manila.
A report by San Lazaro Fire Station to the Manila Bureau of Fire Protection identified the victim as “Ashley.”
The fire started at 3:40 p.m., according to witnesses, lasting for half an hour. The deceased’s body was discovered during a clearing-up operation conducted by Bureau of Fire Protection personnel.
