The Department of Migrant Workers announced Tuesday that a group of overseas Filipino workers from Lebanon is set to arrive tomorrow amid the ongoing clash between Hamas and Israel.

The arrival of the OFWs, numbering 18, will mark the fifth batch of repatriates from Lebanon.

The repatriates are expected to arrive at 4:30 p.m. via Qatar Airways QR932 at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3.

Officer-in-Charge Hans Leo Cacdac confirmed on Monday that the total number of Filipinos from Lebanon who have returned to the country is at 61.

Meanwhile, 27 OFWs returned from Israel via Etihad Airways flight EY424 at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 at 3:15 p.m. on Monday, consisting of 25 caregivers and two hotel workers.

The latest returnees are the 11th batch of repatriates from Israel after Hamas launched its attack in southern Israel on 7 October.

The total number of repatriates from Israel now stand at 362. Cacdac said the body of a slain Filipino in Israel, Paul Castelvi, will arrive before Christmas.
