Elements of Taguig City police successfully conducted a buy-bust operation leading to the apprehension of a male drug suspect.
The suspect was identified as one alias Mike, 48 years old, who will be facing charges for the alleged violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The operation occurred at approximately 9:10 p.m. on 21 December 2023, along MLQ Street, Barangay New Lower Bicutan, Taguig City, with the Station Drug Enforcement Unit taking the lead.
The seized items were seven heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu and weighing approximately 23 grams, valued at P156,400. Also, authorities seized a P500 bill used as buy-bust money, a brown coin purse, and an Android phone
