GENERAL SANTOS CITY — The city was shocked Tuesday night when a piece of horrible alleged suicide news circulated on social media involving a 16-year-old female student of a well-known school.
Police reports confirmed the said incident and stated that at about 5:00 in the afternoon, they received a call informing them of an alleged suicide inside the Holy Trinity College of General Santos involving one of their female students.
In the said report, the victim was identified as Princess Panal, 16, a Grade 11 student of Holy Trinity College. Initial police investigation further disclosed that the victim jumped off inside the Macario and Catalina Hall where senior high school students' classrooms are being located.
The report further revealed that personnel from Holy Trinity College immediately rushed the victim to the nearby St. Elizabeth Hospital; however, the victim was declared dead on arrival.
According to the police, Attorney Jose Mar Albano, president of Holy Trinity College, also informed them that indeed there was an unfortunate incident involving one of their students and currently they are investigating this matter.
A thorough investigation is being conducted, as of this writing.
