PAL reopens Cebu network

Flag carrier Philippine Airlines, or PAL, will reopen domestic routes from Cebu to Luzon and Mindanao in December to help kick off the holiday travel season.

Beginning on 15 December 2023, PAL will fly daily between Cebu and General Santos City and between Cebu and Legazpi's Bicol International Airport in Daraga, Albay, and from 16 December 2023, PAL will resume regular, three-weekly flights between Cebu and Ozamiz City.

Wider routes, more passengers

PAL president and chief operating officer Captain Stanley Ng said the company is looking forward to more passengers and wider connections through the resumption of the new routes from Cebu.

It will also allow residents of GenSan, Legazpi, and Ozamiz to connect more conveniently via Cebu to Iloilo, Bacolod, Tacloban, Davao, Busuanga, and other domestic destinations, as well as to Bangkok, Tokyo Narita, and Seoul Incheon.

The flights will utilize the De Havilland DHC-8-400 Next Generation aircraft, offering 86 seats, including six Comfort Class seats.
