Old dogs can be taught new tricks, contrary to that old saying. But owners should be ready for the consequences.

Police had fined a Slovakian motorist after he was pulled over in the western Slovakian village of Šterusy.

A street camera apparently caught a hunting dog in the driver's seat of the car based on the video footage posted by police on Facebook on 29 September.

The 31-year-old driver reportedly disputed the fine, arguing that his pet suddenly jumped on his lap. But police were unconvinced, as the video showed otherwise.

In Zamboanga City, a jeepney driver's pet dog amuses passengers and other commuters.

The dog named Kibul also won online fans when its video was featured in the TV show "Saksi."

The video shows Kibul riding not inside the jeepney but on its roof. The dog amazingly keeps itself balanced while on top of the moving vehicle.

The driver takes his pet along on his trips because it cries when he leaves it alone in the house, according to the report.
