Ex-convict gunned down by duo on bike

A 46-year-old ex-convict died after he was shot by two motorcycle riding men while sitting comfortably and having a conversation at a sari-sari store Monday night in Paco, Manila.

PSSg John Teody Siguen, of the  Manila Police District-Homicide Section, identified the victim as  Leodines Ma, resident of 1701 Paz Street, Paco, Manila.

The incident occurred at 5:35 in the afternoon while the victim was having a chat with a woman when the assassin arrived.

The gunman who was the backrider alighted at the motorcycle and suddenly fired at the victim hitting the head and other parts of the body that resulted in its death.

After shooting, the gunman hurriedly boarded the waiting motorcycle and proceeded in the direction of Quirino Avenue.

It was learned from the wife of the victim that he had just been freed from prison last July 2023 when he was arrested for violation of RA 9165.

The body was brought to the funeral parlor for autopsy and processing.
