Today, Robi Domingo is celebrating his 34th birthday in a wholly different way from his previous ones.

He comes home from Singapore with his girlfriend Maiqui Pineda who had a medical visit there.

After being engaged to Pineda last July, their supposed wedding preparation turned out to be a recovery journey for her as she was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease called Dermatomyositis.

Dermatomyositis causes muscle weakness, inflammation, and skin rash.

Domingo stood by his fiancée's side from the beginning. He was present to witness her every cry of pain and relief as he tried his best to accompany her with her doctor consultations.

The TV host's birthday this year may not be as perfect but this gives him a new perspective (a positive one) in appreciating life.

His wish goes for the love of his life to gain complete healing.

At the same time, he did not forget to thank everyone for their support and prayers.
