North Korean leader Kim Jong Un got a first-hand look at Russian nuclear bombers, a missile system and a submarine destroyer in Vladivostok on Saturday.
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu toured Kim in the Pacific port city's Knevichi airfield.
A video released by the Russian defense ministry shows the two and their respective military entourage inspecting Tu-160, Tu-95MS and Tu-22M3 bombers.
According to footage released by Moscow, Kim was shown carefully listening to senior representatives of the Russian military and inspecting the aircraft.
Russian officials also showed the reclusive leader a range of fighter jets as well as a hypersonic, air-launched Kinzhal missile system.
Kim and Shoigu then boarded the Marshal Shaposhnikov, an anti-submarine destroyer, where the head of the Russian navy, Admiral Nikolai Yevmenov, explained the characteristics of the warship and the weapons it carries.
Kim's extended tour of Russia's far eastern region, which began on Tuesday, has focused extensively on military matters. When he met with President Vladimir Putin Wednesday, he was toured to a fighter jet factory in Komsomolsk-on-Amur.
The Kim-Putin meeting is worrying Western countries that see the two leaders forging a weapons deal that will beef up Russia's firepower used against Ukrainian forces.
