Five home-grown companies have made it to TIME Magazine's World's Best Companies of 2023.

Placing 309th place was Ayala Corporation with an overall score of 83.66.

The five companies made it to the 750 corporations credited for "changing the world," according to TIME.

Topping the list are tech giants Microsoft, Apple, Google parent Alphabet, and Meta Platforms, formerly Facebook.

In terms of sustainability, Ayala Corp. was ranked 535th, while it was placed 73rd in employee satisfaction.

The Manuel V. Pangilinan-led PLDT was placed 609th with an overall score of 78.71.

Also, it ranked 454th in sustainability, and 317th in employee satisfaction.

SM Investment's banking arm BDO Unibank was hailed 647th, earning a score of 77.85 score.

In sustainability distinction, it ranked 715th, while 173rd in employee satisfaction.

Jollibee lands in list

The Jollibee Foods Corporation, owned by tycoon Tony Tan Caktiong, ranked 421st, earning an overall score of 81.94, with a sustainability rank of 683 and an employee satisfaction rank of 57.

While Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co. owned by the Ty Family ranked 634th, gaining an overall score of 78.12, a sustainability rank of 731.

Metrobank's employee satisfaction ranked 116th.
