The Taguig police seized some P3 million worth of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) Thursday in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Drug Enforcement Unit and Substation 9 at the
Al-Irshad Mosque Compound on Road 14, Barangay New Lower Bicutan, Taguig that also resulted in the arrest of two suspects.
Southern Police District chief Brig. Gen. Roderick Mariano identified the arrested suspects as Empoy Cayagcag, 54, and Mecky Untua, 42.
Seized were nine plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing 450 grams with a value of P3.06 million. The buy-bust money used consisting of one genuine P1,000 bill with 59 pieces of P1,000 boodle money was also recovered.
