Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on Wednesday toured sites of the Angara and Soyuz-2 space launch vehicles at Russia's Vostochny spaceport, the Kremlin said.
"The leaders visited… the assembly plant for the Angara space launch vehicles, the launch complex for the Soyuz-2 and the launch complex for Angara that is still being built," it said in a statement.
The internationally-isolated pair are said to be kicking off a meeting that could see the leaders forge an arms deal that would defy global sanctions.
