Rianne Malixi shot the day's best score — a six-under-par 66 — to finish third in the Beaumont Emergency Hospital Babe Zaharias Open at the Beaumont Country Club in Texas on Friday.
The 16-year-old amateur, playing in the third-tier Women's All-Pro Tour, played bogey-free while collecting six birdies to complete 72 holes on 13-under 275.
She birdied 4, 5, 6, 9, 10 and 15 and finished eight shots behind runaway winner Ou Olankitkunchai of Thailand who closed with a 70.
Second place went to Canadian Parsons who totaled 15-under after a 68.
Sunshine Baraquiel, the other Filipina in the field, shot a 72 to tie for 29th on 293.
Meanwhile, Enrique Dimayuga missed the cut in the England Amateur Stroke Play Championship, also known as the Barbazon Trophy, after posting a five-over-par 77 in the second round at the Sunningdale Golf Club.
The 21-year-old University of Arkansas standout continued to struggle with four bogeys and two double bogeys against only two birdies to finish 36 holes on 13-over.
Sean Keeling was on top of the leaderboard on 5-under after a 70 with Kris Kim taking second spot on 3-under following a 71.
Tied in third on 1-under were John Gough (71) and Jean Leon Aeschlimann (74).
