A case for grave threat is not something to take lightly.

Bulacan police officers led by P/Lt. Ronaldo Lumactod proved this when they traveled all the way to Quezon City to arrest a woman accused of the offense Monday evening.

Served a warrant of arrest for grave threats in relation to Section 6 of Republic Act 10175, otherwise known as the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012, was Kimberly Ann Santos, alias Kim.

Santos, a businesswoman from Barangay Commonwealth, Quezon City, was taken into custody by the Bulacan policemen in an operation supported by the Quezon City Police District, including the Batasan police station warrant section.

Colonel Lumactod said they had been searching for Santos for two days so she can be brought before a Baguio City court which issued the warrant for her arrest over a case for which she could be set free temporarily through a bail bond of P24,000.

Santos' case is pending before Judge Emmanuel Rasing of the Baguio City Regional Trial Court Branch 3. She was temporarily detained at San Jose Del Monte police station pending her being brought before the Baguio City court.

It was not apparent from the police report pertaining to Santos' arrest what were the circumstances surrounding her case, and also why the Bulacan police and not the Baguio police went out of their way to arrest her in Quezon City.
