There's no official report yet on the early top grossers among the eight entries in the 2022 Metro Manila Film Festival.
On opening day, 25 December, ABS-CBN reporter MJ Felipe posted photos on Twitter with the caption: "As of 3:15 here at SM MoA cinemas, two screenings of Partners in Crime are already sold out.
Long queue of moviegoers is back compared to last year."
On another Twitter post, a video on 26 December, Felipe said: These moviegoers are queued to watch Labyu with an Accent and Family Matters at cinemas 1 and 2 of SM Mall of Asia."
A third post, also on 26 December: "Compared to our coverage last year, the long lines of moviegoers are also back here at Glorietta 4; patiently waiting for their turn to buy tickets for the MMFF 2022 movies."

'Nanahimik ang Gabi,' ' My Teacher,' 'Family Matters,' 'Labyu with an Accent.'
Some tabloid columnists loosely reported (no stats, just hearsay) that the Top 4 box office grossers on opening day were Vice Ganda-Ivana Alawi's Partners in Crime, Coco Martin-Jodie Sta. Maria's Labyu with an Accent, Liza Lorena-Noel Trinidad's Family Matters, and Nadine Lustre's Deleter.
