Popular Thai carry Nuengnara "23savage" Teeramahanon added another feather to his cap when he became the first DOTA 2 player in history to reach 13,000 MMR in public ranked games.

23Savage, who currently plays for Talon Esports, is popular for his stint with Korean Esports powerhouse T1 where he played with Filipino stars Carlo "Kuku" Palad and Karl "Karl" Baldovino in The International 10.

"After three weeks of playing 24/7 I reached 13k MMR," 23Savage tweeted.

According to a report from DOTA 2 Pro Tracker, 23Savage relied on his favorite heroes Naga Siren, Monkey King, Slark, Nature's Prophet and Faceless Void to earn his 13,000 MMR in ranked matches.

23Savage's latest exploit is not the first time that he made news around the world for his DOTA 2 prowess.

In July 2020, the Thai carry became only the second player to reach 11,000 solo MMR in public-ranked matches before becoming the first to hit the 12,000 MMR mark in March 2021.

Although playing public matches is, of course, not tantamount to being a great professional player, DOTA 2 players nevertheless get hailed when they reach high MMR given the amount of grind it takes in ranked matches.

After all, it was because of 23Savage's notoriety in public matches that he built his name in the DOTA competitive scene that saw him get signed by some of the biggest Esports organizations in the world including Fnatic, Vici Gaming, T1 and now Talon Esports.

In 2021, 23Savage proved his worth as a player when he helped his ex-team T1 to qualify for The International.

Though they did not win the tournament, T1's top 7 to 8 finish earned them $1,000,500 or roughly 55.4 million pesos.

Shortly after The International 11, T1 opted to part ways with 23Savage and replaced him with Filipino carry Kim "Gabbi" Santos.

T1's decision to remove the 20-year-old from its roster proved detrimental as the organization went on a steady decline afterward and failed to qualify for TI 11.
