Operatives from the Quezon City Police District nabbed at least 19 individuals during separate anti-illegal operations conducted in various parts of the city.
Police from the La Loma Police Station nabbed Margarita Garcia Moreno and Romeo Pineda, residents of Barangay Sto. Domingo, Quezon City for possession of 0.40 grams of suspected shabu valued at P2,720.
Over at the Masambong Police Station, cops collared Arnold Gamac and Eduardo Buna after a concerned citizen tipped off the police regarding an illegal drug activity at the area.
Responding policemen caught the suspects "inflagrante" while holding a sachet of suspected shabu weighing two grams and valued at P13,600.
Meantime, the Novaliches Police Station reported that its operatives arrested Marlon Cruz Medina alias "Dong" and Ed Joseph Bilbao Labajo for possession of five grams of suspected shabu valued at P34,000.
Police from the Kamuning Police Station, on the other hand, nabbed Rufo Edrial Ogena, Dan Mark Reyes Descutido, Anthony Baya Suerte, Valentino Reyes Mendoza and Orlando de Guzman Sumbilon during operations at Barangay Pinyahan. Seized from the suspects were 1.5 grams of suspected shabu valued at P10,200, a cellular phone and the buy-bust money.
At the Payatas Bagong Silangan Police Station, police reported the arrests of Esmeralda Sorbeto Pelayo and Ryan Makasiab Concepcion for possession of two grams of suspected shabu valued at P13,600.
Sting operations conducted by members of the Holy Spirit Police Station collared Adrian Nonato, Jaymar Ortega and Christian Barquilla in Barangay Culiat. The suspects yielded five grams of suspected shabu valued at P34,000, a black coin purse and the buy-bust money.
And over at the Pasong Putik Proper Police Station, police nabbed Kalvin Caunan, Rene Bustos and Ronis Palatao for possession of three grams of suspected shabu valued at P20,400.
The suspects will be charged for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2022 before the Quezon City Prosecutor's Office.
