NAIA passengers increasing — BI
BI Commissioner Norman Tansingco recently ordered heightened checks on Filipinos going abroad, especially if bound for Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam and Myanmar over reports of illegal recruitments with those countries as destinations

Inbound and outbound travelers via the Ninoy Aquino International Airport are increasing in number, the Bureau of Immigration said yesterday.
In an interview with Daily Tribune's "Gising Na!" BI deputy spokesperson Melvin Mabulac said average daily arrival at NAIA ranged from 30,000 to 35,000 while average daily departing passengers ranged from 25,000 to 29,000.
Mabulac attributed the increase to the easing of Covid-19 restrictions in many countries, including the Philippines.
Most outbound passengers via NAIA have had Singapore, Dubai in the United Arab Emirates and the United States as destinations, Mabulac said.
