Parisian vibe in the Phl
Plains and Prints has been part of the wardrobe of women of all walks of life, creating a lane that is distinguishable from the rest. This season, it breathes everyday elegance for a new breed of fashionistas.
The homegrown local fashion brand sets its sights on the City of Lights, Paris, with a unique collection inspired by the hit Netflix series Emily in Paris.
The collection is packed with colorful pieces and must-have staples that easily integrate into a woman's wardrobe. It is a fashion celebration of colorful prints, festive silhouettes, and separates. Just like Emily, it is all about being uncompromising about one's personal style, standing out, and allowing one to express their persona and uniqueness through fashion.
Shop the collection on plainsandprints.com and Zalora or visit its stores nationwide and pop-up store at Shangri-La Plaza Mall Main Wing from 15 to 29 December.
Fashion meets innovation
H&M drops its Innovation Stories initiative that explores the blurry boundaries between online and offline lives, and blends the craftsmanship of high fashion with the fantasy of virtual wardrobes.
Taking inspiration from the immersive potential of the Metaverse as well as the tactile beauty of the physical world, the ready-to-wear collection invites self-expression and explores sustainability in three dimensions.
Several pieces feature recycled polyester fibers made entirely out of old garments and textile waste collected in partnership with H&M's garment-collection program in stores.
Five augmented reality filters, accessible via the H&M app, complete the Innovation Metaverse Design Story line-up. Designed by the Institute of Digital Fashion, the AR fashion lenses powered by Snapchat enable virtual try-on, seamlessly bringing the physical and digital worlds together and empowering customers to express themselves both in real life and online.
The H&M Innovation Metaverse Design Story collection is available online at hm.com.
