Makati drug peddlers get jail time

Operatives of the Southern Police District Drug Enforcement Unit captured two drug personalities in a drug-bust along Magnolia Street, Barangay Rizal, Makati City the other night.

The suspects were identified as Ronny Sabanal Cortejo and Prince Fercedez Las Piñas Concordia.

Seized from the suspects were six heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing more or less 20 grams with an estimated standard drug price value of  P136,000, P500 bill utilized as buy-bust money and coin purse.

The suspects were brought to SPD DDEU Office for documentation and disposition while seized drug items were turned over to SPD Forensic Unit for qualitative and quantitative analysis.

Complaints for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Art II of RA 9165 are now being prepared against them.
