Aligned with its mission to enrich lives and build communities sustainably, Security Bank Corporation has strengthened its partnership with the Center for Community Transformation by helping build Lupang Pangako (Promised Land), a 37.5-hectare non-contiguous land in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija that will become a resettlement site for former street dwellers served by the CCT Kaibigan Ministry.

The CCT Kaibigan Ministry helps around 5,000 street dwellers annually across the Philippines. It aims to relocate 180 rehabilitated street dwellers to Lupang Pangako yearly.

"We're proud to support CCT as they continue to make a positive impact and provide chances for a better future. This initiative is closely aligned with some of the key pillars of Security Bank's mission — to enrich lives and build communities," said Tanya Deakin, VP and Head of Corporate Communications at Security Bank.

Since 2020, the Bank has supported the projects of CCT, including the CCT-Tindahan Para sa Bayan program that extended P2.7 million to small businesses during the pandemic. A support package was also given in 2021 for the CCT-Visions of Hope program to support the education of indigenous scholars in Malungon, Sarangani.
