Authorities reported that a fully-grown fetus wrapped in a white plastic bag was found by a street sweeper along the McArthur Bridge in Ermita, Manila.
Police said that the street sweeper — identified as Ed Crun de Leon — is assigned at the Liwasang Bonifacio and reported the discovery at the nearest police precinct there.
MPD-Homicide Section officer PSMS Dennis Suba described the fetus to be between 24 to 28 months old.
The police are now reviewing CCTV footages from the area to check for possible persons of interests.
