Sen. Bong Go outreach team visited San Felipe, Zambales, and gave assistance to 1,000 disadvantaged residents of the town on Tuesday, 22 November.

In his video message, Go reassured that he will continue to boost the marginalized sector to the best of his capacity to help them overcome the challenges brought about by the pandemic.

"Tuluy-tuloy lang po ang ating serbisyo. Kahit saan ako dalhin ng tadhana ay handa po akong magserbisyo sa aking kapwa," said Go, who is an adopted son of Zambales.

"Dahil mahal na mahal ko po ang aking kababayang Pilipino. Mahal na mahal ko po ang pagseserbisyo sa aking kapwa Pilipino," he added.

Held at the Barangay San Rafael covered court plaza, the senator's team handed out snacks and masks to the residents. They also provided cellular phones, shoes, and balls for basketball to select individuals.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development likewise extended cash assistance as part of the government's efforts to provide a more comfortable life for all amid crisis situations.
