‘Drag Den’ unveils contestants and co-hosts

After much speculation, CS Studios and Project 8, the companies behind Drag Den, released a video on their social media channels on 17 November revealing the eight contestants of the first
Philippine-made drag competition and reality series.

The competing drag queens are O-A, Maria Cristina, Aries Night, Barbie-Q, Shewarma, Pura Luka Vega, Naia and Lady Gagita.

The video, which came after the release of the show's teaser, also announced the co-hosts, who will be accompanying the main host, called the "Drag Lord," Manila Luzon, the Filipino-American drag performer who became famous since appearing in the third season of RuPaul's Drag Race. Social media personality Sassa Gurl is billed as the "Drag Runner" and Miss Grand International 2016 first runner -up Nicole Cordoves as the "Drag Dealer."

According to producers, the reveal video garnered two million views across all platforms in 24 hours after its release. They also said that they will unveil their official trailer on 29 November.
