President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. had himself tested for Covid-19 "as part of the health protocol for the APEC Summit in Bangkok, Thailand," Office of the Press Secretary officer-in-charge Cheloy Garafil told reporters in a message.
"He also instructed members of the official delegation to Cambodia to have themselves tested," Garafil added.
The President has yet to receive his test result.
Marcos extended his well-wishes to Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, who tested positive for Covid-19 after attending the four-day ASEAN Summits in Phnom Penh.
"The President extends his wishes to Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen for a speedy recovery," said Garafil.
