QC pickpockets fall

The victims reported the incident to the TMRU patrollers who immediately conducted a hot pursuit operation.

Authorities from the Tactical Motorcycle Riders Unit of the Kamuning Police Station arrested five individuals for pickpocketing in Barangay South Triangle in Quezon City.

PS-10 station commander PltCol. Robert Amoranto identified the suspects as Emilio Delfin III, Jhon Mark Gavina Jr., Renante Pambuena, Jomari Nadayao and Aries Labuca. They were arrested on 10 November at EDSA corner Panay Ave..

Police said that the suspects boarded a bus and pretended to be passengers, picking out their victims for possible loot.

But one of the victims – identified as Nadine Santelices – discovered the sham and confronted the suspects who alighted the bus at GMA Kamuning Station and ran towards East Avenue.

The victims reported the incident to the TMRU, who immediately conducted a hot pursuit operation.

The suspects were found at PLDT East Avenue where the victims positively identified them which led to their arrest.

Recovered from the suspects were two units of Redmi Cellular phones, one unit of IPhone and one unit of Realme.

The suspects will be charged for violation of two counts of theft.
