EHEF 2022’s theme “Youth for Excellence and Innovation” puts the spotlight on the crucial role of the youth in advancing education, science, and research to build a greener, more inclusive future.

Have you ever dreamed of pursuing higher education abroad, most specifically in Europe?

Studying overseas seems intimidating. But, given the right tools, relevant information and proper access to the right partners and universities, this concurrent dream may come true.

The European Union’s European Higher Education Fair, which goes hybrid for the first time, will give Filipino students, academicians, researchers, and officials connections to world-class higher education institutions from across Europe. Featured are more than 90 higher education institutions participating on-ground and online from Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, Ireland, Spain, France, Italy, Hungary, Netherlands, Poland, Austria, Finland, and Sweden.

Research grants from Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions, and Jean Monnet are also open for students and educators alike.

Beyond countless spots and diverse cultures, the EU is widely recognised as a centre of excellence and has established its educational preeminence with superior academic courses, mobility and scholarship opportunities, and cutting-edge technology,” Dr. Ana Isabel Sánchez Ruiz, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the European Union to the Philippines, said.

The fair will also feature on-site country seminars provided by the EU Member States’ Embassies and Cultural Institutes who will walk through various higher education systems, mobility, visa requirements, culture, lifestyle, and practical information.

EHEF is organized by the Delegation of the European Union to the Philippines together with EU Member States’ Embassies, education services and Institutes, and in collaboration with the Commission on Higher Education. It will run from 18 to 19 November at the Shangri-La Plaza, Grand Atrium and virtually at www.ehefphilippines.com.
