Slow-moving ‘Paeng’ makes new landfall in Marinduque

The Philippine weather bureau says Severe Tropical Storm "Paeng" has maintained strength while moving over the northern part of Marínduque, after making landfall in Sta. Cruz town at 8:40 am on 29 October.

The storm's center was estimated in the vicinity of Mogpog, Marínduque.

It is moving west southwestward at 25 km/h,
with maximum sustained winds of 95 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 130 km/h.
