The Philippine weather bureau says Severe Tropical Storm “Paeng” has maintained strength while moving over the northern part of Marínduque, after making landfall in Sta. Cruz town at 8:40 am on 29 October.
The storm’s center was estimated in the vicinity of Mogpog, Marínduque.
It is moving west southwestward at 25 km/h,
with maximum sustained winds of 95 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 130 km/h.
