It's been a long time coming for the P-pop group SB19, which is embarking on its first world tour.

The group is set to visit Dubai on 29 October, New York on 5 November, Los Angeles on 12 November, and Singapore on 27 November for the overseas leg of its WYAT concert series.

SB19, composed of members Pablo, Josh, Ken, Stell, and Justin, kicked off the concert tour with performances on 17 September at the Araneta Coliseum, 1 October in Cebu, 8 October in Clark, and 15 October in Davao.

"But most importantly, excited kami na ma-meet (we're excited to meet) (ang) fans from different countries. We want to give them the best performance na maipapakita namin (that we can show)," Pablo said.

Member Justin added that it's a whole new experience for the group to be performing for a different audience.

"We're looking forward to how we are going to react kapag nandoon na kami sa ibang bansa (when we arrive in a different country). Of course, it's a different audience. Iba ang culture nila at panahon (Their culture and time are different," he said.

SB19 debuted in 2018 with the ballad "Tilaluha." The group shot to popularity in 2019 when the sophomore single "Go Up" became a viral sensation.

In just four years, SB19 has made history with several accolades, including the first Filipino act to be nominated at the Billboard Music Awards and being named one of the Best Boy Bands of All Time by Teen Vogue. The group was also named by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts as its Youth and Sentro Rizal Ambassadors.

SB19's recent single "WYAT (Where You At)" is produced by Pablo with his real-life brother Josue. It's the group's first release since the EP Pagsibol in 2021.
