President Bongbong Marcos on Tuesday discussed ways to ensure enough food supply in the country with his Cabinet members during their 10th Cabinet meeting.

"Sa ating pulong ngayong araw kasama ang gabinete, pinagtibay natin ang mga susunod na hakbang upang mabantayan ang presyo ng mga bilihin," he wrote in a social media post.

"Sisiguruhin po natin na maisasaayos ang suplay ng pagkain upang maging sapat at abot-kaya para sa mamamayang Pilipino," he added.

The Cabinet meeting was held after the President administered the oath-taking of 10 reappointed Cabinet members after the Commission on Appointments bypassed their ad interim appointments.

The reappointed officials were Secretaries Benjamin Diokno (Finance), Arsenio Balisacan (Socioeconomic Planning), Manuel Bonoan (Public Works), Alfredo Pascual (Trade), Erwin Tulfo (Social Welfare), Jaime Bautista (Transportation), Renato Solidum Jr. (Science and Technology), Raphael Lotilla (Energy), Susan Ople (Migrant Workers), and Jose Rizalino Acuzar (Human Settlements).

Also reappointed was Ivan John Uy as the Secretary of Information and Communications Technology. He was not just able to take his oath alongside other reappointed Cabinet members as he is currently abroad, according to newly-appointed Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, who replaced Atty. Victor Rodriguez.

Press Secretary Trixie Cruz Angeles and Commission on Audit chairperson Jose Calida have abdicated their posts.
