Blacklist books playoffs spot via ONIC sweep

Two-time MPL PH champion Blacklist International has officially booked its slot in the MPL PH Season 10 Playoffs following a sweep over ONIC PH on Week 7 Day 1 of the regular season this Friday evening.

"I am happy [that we have made it to the Playoffs]. Our goal is to make the upper bracket which is why the match was very important to us because if we lost, we had a low chance of going to the upper bracket," Hadji said after the match.

Blacklist had its chance to become the first team to enter the Playoffs last week but was denied entry when they lost to Bren Esports. Proving that no team can beat them twice in a row, Blacklist coach BON CHAN says the latest patch is a huge help to the team.

"The previous patches made it hard for us to play our comfort heroes. I was often criticized for repeatedly using the same drafts when it was not working so we had to endure that. This new patch we are sure that we can unleash [our comfort heroes]," BON CHAN stated.

Match 2 of the day took place between Omega Esports and Nexplay EVOS where the former emerged victorious with a 2-1 score. The win improved Omega's season standing to 7-5 as they book a slot to the Playoffs.
